The Playstation 3 has many new features that have been announced at E3 this year. The biggest news announced by Sony this year is that the console will soon be playing full games in 3D! You may be thinking, okay, these are going to be some childish Wii style graphics, but that’s not true. There are some hit titles that are going to be brought to us in 3D. Ghost Recon and Forza Motorsport are included in the 3D lineup. They are promising over 20 titles by March of 2011 will be in 3D.
Are you excited for the changes being made to the Playstation 3? What’s your favorite addition? I think that Sony will make huge gains in the console wars if the 3D television market expands. If the television market doesn’t expand, then it will make no difference because people won’t be able to play in 3D so these changes aren’t as special as you’d hope. If you are lucky enough to have a 3D television or are considering purchasing one, then this will be an epic addition to the gaming market.
